Compassion Ministry provides Louisiana Baptist churches remarkable opportunities to share the love of Christ and reach people for faith. Not only is it a nice thing to do for those in our community, God commands us to it! 

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45

Compassion Ministries are numerous and varied. They include feeding and clothing programs, ministries to prisoners and their families, abortion alternative services, tutoring classes, disaster relief, counseling, and so on.  It may be as simple as having a block party in the neighborhood near your church! Hand them a snow cone and show them the love of Christ! When these people see our actions, we want them to ask why we are doing these things for people we don’t even know. It opens doors and gives opportunities to share the gospel.
